About the Variety Show

Friends of the Theater’s annual Christmas at the Ricks variety show showcases the wonderful talent in our community, with 100% of the proceeds funding projects to preserve the very theater that houses this holiday tradition. This year, our concert fundraiser will feature local talent and cash prizes and take place following the annual downtown parade and tree-lighting ceremony at Depot Park.    ​

Soloists and small and large ensembles from the county will be invited to participate in this production.

​

We wish to highlight the wonderful amateur and professional talents that we have right here in Hancock County.

 

This year our show sponsorships will provide funding to help us feature a multitude of young performers, as well as performers with professional backgrounds with a range of experience.

 

We are excited to announce that these  performers will receive a talent stipend to  continue their  pursuit of  the  musical arts. Invitations are being distributed to secure performers for our show.

 

Drinks, snacks, and desserts will be available at the theater after the tree lighting downtown. Santa and Mrs. Claus also will be there to meet and greet the audience members for pictures.
